My first trip outside Brazil happened at 18 when I went to the US to live for a year as an exchange student. That was the beginning of a 20-years journey across all continents of this Earth. Since then I have lived and danced in many South American countries, prayed in Asian temples, surfed Australian waves and train hopped uncountable European stations. Finally in 2006 I left my marketing job in London to pursue an old African dream: a year long traverse of the land of our ancestors via its great deserts.

The common denominator of all my trips has been the detailed planning. I started doing it for safety, as I mostly travel alone. After a while the research necessary to design the itineraries became as much fun as the trip itself and made me realise how much the previous knowledge of the history, myths and practical details of the places I was going to visit enriched my experience. I always came back with great stories and my friends started to ask me to design their itineraries.
Upon my return from Africa I felt the need to make travelling a daily part of my life, even when I am not on the road. Extending the use of my travel planning skills to a larger audience seemed a good way to start. Thus, this site.
