Rio de Janeiro - Ilha Grande

Leave Rio at 8 am to make the most of the scenic Rio-Santos old road (BR 101). |
111 km later arrive in Mangaratiba and take the hourly ferry to Ilha Grande (1h30). It docks at Abraao Village. |
Lunch at the fantastic Frech restaurant in your pousada. After a deserved rest, head back to Abraao Village for a 2 hours trek to Praia Lopes Mendes. The trail is marked. Before leaving confirm tomorrow's diving trip (R. da Praia, 647, 3361 5516). |

Back to Rio-Santos road, continue for 95 km towards Sao Paulo to Parati. |
